Security & E-Communications Policy
The Directors of Redstone Bank seek to provide high-quality service to our clients. At the same time, we also want to be efficient in our operations and contribute to our community at large. With these goals in mind, Redstone Bank gives our clients the option of receiving notices and account statements via e-mail. This reduces our use of paper, energy, and other resources; however, this option is available as an alternative to paper statements to be chosen at your discretion. All relevant account disclosures will be made in paper form at account opening.
If account holders choose to receive paper statements and notices on personal accounts, they will be charged $1.00 per month per account for this service. This election can be made upon account opening or any time while the account is open. Likewise, if a client decides to begin receiving their notices and statements in paper form via the U.S. Postal service, the monthly service charges will apply. Changes in election may be made in person, via telephone, or via the contact us option here.
In order to supply you with your statements and notices via e-mail, the bank will need a current e-mail address. We routinely collect this from you at account opening, but you may update this information at any time in person, via telephone, via your on-line services, or via the contact us option here. As with all personal information, Redstone Bank will not share your e-mail address with any outside party, and communications will be limited to information related to your accounts.
To view your statements and notices, you will need to be able to open a file in .pdf format. This is most easily accomplished with Adobe Reader. You may download this software for free at Adobe. If you need assistance, please call the bank between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
From time to time you may need paper copies of notices or statements. It should be possible for you to print items from your home computer using your free on-line services. However, paper versions of notices and statements will be made available to you, at a reasonable charge of $1.00 per page.
At Redstone Bank, we make protecting your private information a high priority. Signing into your account within on-line services provides secure and encrypted access. However, we cannot guarantee the security of other websites and e-mail. In the interest of your own protection, do not include personal or account information in e-mails. Always remember to retrieve copies of statements or notices that you print, and remember to log out when you have completed your on-line activity. We will never request personal information from you in an e-mail.
